These are the terms for using Dus.Tools. Plain English on purpose. By using the site, you agree to them.
Dus.Tools (the "Service") is a set of web-based tools built by Dus Rawling that help creators and entrepreneurs draft prompts for large language models and analyze their public YouTube channel data.
The Service includes:
You can browse the prompt builders and copy prompts without an account. Running prompts through the built-in AI, saving prompts to the cloud, and using the YouTube Analytics tool require you to sign in. Authentication is handled by Clerk; we receive your email address and a stable user ID from them.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for any activity on your account. Tell us if you suspect someone else has accessed it.
Some features (specifically running prompts through Claude, and running AI insight analyses on the YouTube Analytics tool) are gated behind a paid subscription. Current tiers are listed in the upgrade modal inside any prompt builder. All billing is processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.
Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the Customer Portal (reachable from the upgrade modal once you're subscribed). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access through what you've already paid for.

Each paid tier includes a monthly cap on AI runs. The cap resets on the first of each month. Unused runs do not roll over.
Quota is enforced server-side and counts both prompt-builder AI runs and AI insight analyses on the YouTube tool against the same monthly bucket (unless otherwise stated for a tier).
Free users get a small monthly allotment on the YouTube AI insights tool (currently 1 free analysis per month). Prompt-builder AI runs are not available on the free tier.
Don't use the Service to:
You own your prompts and outputs. Anything you type into a prompt builder, save to your cloud-synced library, or generate through Claude belongs to you. We don't claim ownership of any of it.
We store your saved prompts and AI run history (timestamps + token counts, not the response text) on Cloudflare D1 so the dashboard and saved-prompt features work. We do not use any of your content to train models, sell to third parties, or share with anyone outside the providers strictly needed to operate the service (Cloudflare, Stripe, Clerk, Anthropic).
The YouTube Analytics tool requires you to generate and paste your own YouTube Data API v3 key. We store that key on your account and use it to make YouTube API requests on your behalf only when you click Sync or Run analysis. We do not use it for any other purpose, do not share it, and you can revoke it at any time from Google Cloud Console plus disconnect it on our side by clicking Disconnect.
The tool pulls only public channel data (the same data anyone can see on YouTube). It does not access private analytics like revenue, watch time, or audience demographics — those require Google OAuth, which isn't part of the current product.
We host on Cloudflare and aim for high uptime, but we can't guarantee 100%. Anthropic's API, Stripe's API, Clerk's API, and YouTube's API can also have outages. When those happen the Service may be partially or fully unavailable through no fault of ours. We do not offer SLAs at this stage.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, misleading, or off-base. You are responsible for reviewing any output before using it. We make no guarantee about the accuracy or fitness-for-purpose of anything Claude produces.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dus Rawling and the Service are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Direct damages, if any, are limited to what you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
You can stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We can also suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, especially for abusive behavior or repeated quota-bypass attempts. If we terminate an account for cause, we don't refund the current billing period.
We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change materially affects your rights, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you by email or an in-app notice.
